CERTIFIED BUSINESS NAVIGATOR

“The greatest people are self-managing – they don’t need to be managed. Once they know what to do, they’ll go figure out how to do it. What they need is a common vision. And that’s what leadership is: having a vision; being able to articulate that so the people around you can understand it; and getting a consensus on a common vision.”

Steve Jobs

It is time to stop managing people and start navigating them toward a common goal, a common vision that makes a difference, that solves real problems in the world around us.

A Business Navigator certification is meant to help people transform themselves and through that, transform their organizations. It is designed for anyone who manages people, whether as part of a process or a project, regardless of their field of work. The goal is to equip you with tools that can be applied in your day-to-day work.

How we manage, impacts every aspect of our lives. Poor management leads to quality issues, environmental issues, stress at work and, as a result, at home, and so on. Becoming a Navigator who leads people by effectively organizing and prioritizing work, rather than a manager who directs "resources" by constantly pushing for more and better results, is the first step toward addressing these problems.

CBN will help ensure that you have the working knowledge and the ability to apply the key concepts of the most common management frameworks, combined with the new techniques introduced in Stream Theory.
